Pleasant, MichiganBy Thomas Bussineau, chapter founder & banquet chairmanThe Silver Anniversary banquet committee has been busy planning our reunion to be held on November 13, 2010 at the Comfort Inn, Mt. Pleasant. The committee explored other venues in Mt. Pleasant, but the Comfort Inn has the best facilities to host our banquet. We have received feedback from past events that brothers and wives would like to have more time to socialize during the evening. With that in mind, we are reducing the amount of time spent on presentations from speakers.
To generate income for the room and banquet deposits, we are offering advanced ticket sales for the event. The price for banquet tickets will be $50 per person ($35 pp for undergrads) and will go up to after March 1.
To receive the discounted price, there are two options to send in your payment: Pay on-line with a credit card or electronic check, or send in a check. A block of rooms has been set aside at the Comfort Inn. Make sure you mention that you are with Beta Theta Pi. It is encouraged that you make your room reservation as soon as possible because the room rate will go up if a home game is scheduled for that day.
